It is also believed that cats may eat grass when they are not getting enough nutrients into their body, or it could be do to a hunger that they are not able to satisfy. However eating grass can be beneficial to your cats, as cats do not have the
enzymes required to properly digest grass they will throw it up. When your cat throws up it also takes with it furr, bones, feathers and parasites that are wreaking havoc on your cats digestive system.
You should however be concerned about the type of grass that your cat is eating very often the types of grass your cat is eating can be laced with harmful chemicals. Most cats are raised in a developed setting where they are susceptible to harmful fertilizers, and pesticides in the grass.
These fertilizers and pesticides can cause serious health complications or even death. Make sure you do not use any chemicals or fertilizers on your grass so your cat does not have to come in contact, or eat any grass with these dangerous chemicals on them.
